The Good Eater Technique first came up in the Finster Family. The parents set a goal based on how much the child should eat while eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If the child succeeds to do so, the parent gives praise.

1. Set goal

2. Tell child how much to eat

3. Give praise.
